Why do K-pop idols dye their hair blonde? It's a question I have pondered over sleepless and restless nights and I still have not come up with an answer. To keep it quite frank, there's a reason our Asian race as a whole were born with dark black hair. The simple truth is that our facial features mix quite well with dark roots, so why do K-pop singers insist on changing our natural hairy state? I can't say all of them look terrible with the platinum blonde look, but for the most part, idols look their best when their rocking out darker shades of color. Today, we are going to look at who can pull off blonde, and who should just leave the dos to the Western folk. 

G-Dragon can pull off any hair color. He's rocked purple, hot pink, fuschia, orange, cotton candy, etc., you name a color he's pulled it off and he's one of my favorite blondes. 

Rookie group B.A.P debuted on to the scene as 6 blonde bombshells and while the overall look was cool, only some of the members looked great in the Pamela Anderson-esque color. Zelo, Himchan, and Jongup definitely did Miss Baywatch proud but the other members, look a billion times better as brunettes.   It even earned them the parody monicker to their group name as "Blonde Asian People" among select fan circles.

CL, should never be a blonde.The platinum color does nothing in making her facial features stand out and brings our favorite rapper down a few notches on the hot list. 

SHINEE's Taemin is a baby-faced pretty boy and fortunately for him, he could rock anything on his dainty little head and still manages to look adorable. Taemin could have one piece of hair standing up on his head, and fans will still love him till his dying day-pun intended. 

Big Bang's T.O.P is the sexiest Korean blonde my pretty ole' eyes have ever seen. Something about this idol just oozes sex appeal and he should be the poster child of what idols with blonde hair should look like. 

f(x)'s Luna should never go back to this look. Hopefully, for the group's comeback, SM Entertainment will let the poor girl go back to her natural roots and avoid ever making her look like a wannabe Polly Pocket. 

No, Heechul, no. 

We all love us some Jay Park, but Jay as a blonde just doesn't hit it out of the park for me. 

There's something mysteriously attractive about JYJ's Junsu and him as a blonde so I'm going to have to give a thumbs up for this do. 

JY Park, please never let this happen to our cutie Nichkhun ever again.
