Kim Hyun Joong's popularity is growing by the second over in Japan.

The unique part about this situation is that Hyung Joong's official debut album has been isn't slated to drop until January 25th, but the singles that he has released so far were available for download as message alerts.

One day after the release Kim Hyun Joong ranked #1 on the 'mobile message-alert download daily chart' with "Kiss Kiss" on Recochoku. This is significant because he because the 1st Korean male artist accomplish this feat. Kim has had numerous songs make the top twenty including "Lucky Guy," "U," and "Breakdown" just to name a few. This proves Kim is no one hit wonder in the slightest, he is definitely here to stay. 

To help further his popularity, Kim will be performing live on Japan's "Music Station" on January 27th. This is also significant because it is unheard of for a Korean solo artist to be making his debut to perform on such a popular show. The music industry in Japan, as well as the press is starting to take notice of the young man's popularity. 

Continuing his connection with his fans, Kim will be holding an event for his debut album on February 5th at the Yokohama Arena. "Premium Live 2012," which is the name of Kim's debut album, should be the talk of Japan in no time, if he isn't already.
