For the first time ever Korea's Grammy Awards, the Golden Disk Awards, was held in Osaka, Japan. The 26th edition of the Golden Disk Awards ceremonies lasted two days, and was filled with a bunch of performances. The event was held at the Kyocera Dome and was filled with plenty of excitement.

Super Junior's Lee Teuk and Kara's Gyuri were the co-host for the night's activities. The first night awards were focused on physical album sales, as Super Junior went home with the biggest award of the night.

The event was aired by the newest addition to the cable network, jTBC.
