BEAST Is (Coming) Back! New Single, Album, Concert and Fan Project

Cube Entertainment announced via their official website on Monday that their popular six-member boy band, Beast, is gearing up for a comeback in July.

Beast had their last release in July 2012, their sixth EP, Midnight Sun, and fans have been waiting nearly a year for something new.

The CEO of Cube Entertainment, Hong Seung-seong, reported that the group would indeed make their comeback sometime in July and that the first performance of the new album's title track will be at an exclusive concert.

The message from Hong read, "B2ST's upcoming album, to be released in July, will be performed for the first time onstage at B2ST's exclusive concert to be held in the same month."

He explained the reasoning behind this special comeback plan by continuing, "Their music, which shines more brightly onstage, will kick off with a concert so that B2UTYs will be the ones to see it first."

Not many other details have been revealed about the nature of this upcoming album, but the Cube Entertainment CEO did say, "Many passionate debates, designs and fun ideas have been thrown out regarding the comeback and are still going on, so make sure you don't let go of your anticipation."

There is no word yet on a specific date for the album's release or concert, but fans needn't wait much longer - the group will pre-release the song "Will It Be Okay" on Wednesday as a digital single. The song was composed by member Yong Jun-hyung and will reportedly involve some rather dramatic sentiments.

The pre-release is part of a two-fold project plan for the comeback. The second part will be the start of a 'B2UTY More' project beginning in June. Hong also mentioned that Beast will hold a special fan meeting next month to preview the new record.

It seems the agency and the Beast members are preparing for a fan-oriented comeback, perhaps as a way to thank B2UTYs for all their patience since the last album.

Hong's message also said, "The members have been working hard in their own areas even after their last album release. They always aim to become better people, and this is why we had to tie up all their remaining knots in order to move on further rather than hastily take another new step, though it took us a long time to do so."

And B2UTYs are prepared and anxious for the comeback of their beloved idols. Already with a huge international fan following, we can expect a matured, more powerful new album from Beast, one that will hopefully thrust them further into the global mainstream.

A sentiment also regarded by Cube's CEO, "The B2ST members are healthier than any ordinary Korean men, but with the upcoming album we aim to give them a new turning point that will sharpen not only their physical conditions, but also their content, and let them fly high on their abilities as global stars."
