On the other hand, Kim Hyojong, who is better known as Dawn and formerly called E'Dawn, was a former member of the K-pop group PENTAGON and a former member of Triple H as well, alongside his bandmate Hui and HyunA. He is best known for songwriting and rapping for three years under Cube Entertainment, releasing nine EPs in both Korean and Japanese before his departure in 2018.

A lot has changed ever since HyunA and Dawn disclosed their relationship, which led to a lot of backlashes, considering the strict guidelines between artists and their agencies in the South Korean music industry, just like how the couple parted ways with Cube Entertainment. They were kicked out immediately, and HyunA received hate comments from the male idol's fans as well, because their dating confirmation led them to quit the agency and E'dawn from his former group, PENTAGON.
