G-Dragon's statement became a hot topic on Twitter after netizens noted a familiar photo that made fans realized how much he values the band.
Being the King of Pop, G-dragon is considered a prime talent and an influencer whose words always leave an etch on his fans' hearts. His latest update on Instagram made keen-eyed fans remember what he said on "Run BIGBANG Scout" Episode 6. The said photo shows a portrait of BIGBANG's miniature toys that appeared on the said show where GD mentioned, "BIGBANG is 5. BIGBANG will always be 5."

V.I.P's made various reactions on different social media platforms. Some believe that G-Dragon is trying to end the stigma about one of the members, Suengri, who has been dragged in several scandals such as the "Burning Sun."
Since the issue emerged, some BIGBANG fanatics tried to consider OT4 which excludes Seungri. Fans of the former 5-member group could not help but react and be happy. "OMG! OMG! Thank you. #bigbangis5," said one commenter on Instagram.
Others aslo addressed the statement to those who are aiming for OT4. "Yall can sleep peacefully after this. His message is clear. BIGBANG is 5 and will always be 5. Whoever disagrees can weep in the corner and see if Jiyong gives a f***," expressed another fan.
Others are now speculating that even though Seungri is currently enlisted in the military, BIGBANG may comeback as a 5-member group soon. "These shinning stars need to shine together as BIGBANG 5," said one fan.
