Oli London Drops K-Pop Christmas Song "Christmas in Korea"

Europe's very own K-Pop solo artist and TV personality, Oli London, has released his Christmas single, "Christmas in Korea."

With the release of his new Christmas single, London aims to help spread the holiday cheers, especially after a tough year that included the global coronavirus pandemic. A statement from his record label, Oli London Entertainment, notes that the British artist dedicates his latest single to the people of Korea, his favorite K-Pop group BTS, and his dedicated fanbase called the "Oli Squad."

"My fans mean so much to me as do the incredible people of Korea and BTS, so I wrote this song to help cheer everyone up during the Covid crisis. I want people to listen to the song and dream of being in a winter wonderland, where everything is carefree, happy and joyous," Oli said in a statement. "Christmas is about spreading love to those around us, giving back to those less fortunate and loving each other as human beings."

In the 3:51 music video first released last December 5, Oli London appears dressed in a white faux fur coat together with friends. The festive holiday track features upbeat melodies as Oli sings in a mix of English and Korean across varying backdrops including an evening sky with snow falling, a tunnel of lights, and a plain white room where Oli wears a strikingly contrasting outfit.

The music video was directed and edited by Cameraman Bean, with the song written by Korean Boy Woogie, Scott Houzet, and Oli London himself. "Christmas in Korea" was released by World Entertainment Media, who has previously worked with some of the world's most successful artists such as Michael Jackson, TLC, Britney Spears, and more. The Orchard, Sony Music subsidiary, is the music's distributor.

British record producer, Simon Britton of World Entertainment Media, said: "We are truly delighted to be working with this vibrant, talented artist on his forthcoming Christmas single." Britton described Oli's "colorful character and sense of optimism" as rays that shine through the fun track that is "Christmas in Korea."

The song, according to Britton, "radiates a feeling of togetherness and joy, which is a much needed breath of fresh air for everyone around the World in these uncertain times".
