BTS, BLACKPINK, TWICE & More: K-Pop Artists With Most Streams On Spotify In December 2020 Revealed

BTS, BLACKPINK, and TWICE have entered numerous music charts around the globe this year, proving that they are among the most influential and popular K-Pop groups today. Recently, the Big 3 were also included in the list of K-Pop artists with most streams on Spotify in December 2020.

As per Koreaboo, the K-Pop industry has been performing very well in 2020 in terms of popularity and sales. This prompted the entertainment news publication to rank the artists that collected the most streams on Spotify, which is one of the major music streaming platforms there is today.

Topping the list is BTS. The news outlet shared that Jimin, Jin, V, J-Hope, Jungkook, Suga, and RM have amassed a total of 32 million streams on Spotify this month alone. The Bangtan boys dominated the list at No. 1 with their most streamed track called "Boy With Luv," which was streamed 576 million times.

BLACKPINK nabbed second place in the list of K-Pop artists with most streams. They received almost 19 million streams on Spotify in December. Jennie, Rose, Jisoo, and Lisa, just like BTS, also peaked at the No. 1 spot in the past. The South Korean girl-group's most-streamed track is "Kill This Love," which garnered a total of 425 million streams this month.

TWICE got the third rank after getting almost 8 million streams on Spotify in December 2020. Momo, Mina, Tzuyu, Sana, Jeongyeon, Nayeon, Chaeyoung, Dahyun, and Jihyo peaked at No. 3. Their most streamed track is titled "Fancy" with more than 192 million streams.

Coming in fourth place is Red Velvet with almost 5 million streams on Spotify this month. Wendy, Yeri, Irene, Seulgi, and Joy peaked at No. 4 in the list. Their most streamed track is called "Psycho" with more than 175 million streams.

(G)I-DLE rounded out the top 5 with a total of 4.52 million streams in December. Minnie, Song Yuqi, Cho Mi Yeon, Jeon So Yeon, Yeh Shu Hua, and Seo Soo Jin peaked at No. 3 in the past. The group's most-streamed song is called "POP/STARS," which amassed almost 180 million streams.

10. EXO - more than 3.5 million streams on Spotify, peaked at No. 9 in the past with their most streamed track called "Love Shot"

11. MAMAMOO member Hwasa - 3.5 million streams on Spotify, peaking at No. 4 with her most streamed track titled "Maria"

12. ITZY - 3.4 million streams on Spotify, peaking at No. 4 in the past with their most streamed track called "DALLA DALLA"

13. TXT - 3.28 million streams on Spotify, peaking at No. 13 with their most streamed track titled "Crown"

14. NCT - 3.85 million streams on Spotify, peaking at No. 13 with their most streamed song called "Boss"

15. Chungha - 3.25 million streams on Spotify, peaking at No. 12 in the past with her most streamed song titled "Gotta Go"

16. Shaun - 2.97 million streams on Spotify, peaking at No. 11 with his most streamed song called "Way Back Home" featuring Conor Maynard

17. NCT U - 2.82 million streams on Spotify, peaked at No. 17 with their most streamed track titled "Make a Wish (Birthday Song)"

18. SEVENTEEN - 2.82 million streams on Spotify, peaked at No. 13 with their most streamed song called "Don't Wanna Cry"

19. GOT7 - 2.79 million streams on Spotify, peaking at No. 19 with their most streamed song titled "Lullaby"

20. NCT 127 - 2.79 million streams on Spotify, peaked at No. 8 in the past with their most streamed song called " Cherry Bomb"

21. Agust D - 2.67 million streams on Spotify, peaking at No. 12 with his most streamed song titled "Daechwita"

22. MONSTA X - 2.53 million streams on Spotify, peaking at No. 19 in the past with their most streamed track called "Hero"

23. EVERGLOW - 2.47 million streams on Spotify, peaking at No. 15 in the past with their most streamed song titled "Bon Bon Chocolat"

24. Girls' Generation member Taeyeon - 2.32 million streams on Spotify, peaking at No. 24 on the list with her most streamed song called "11:11"

25. Aespa - 2.27 million streams on Spotify, peaking at No. 24 in the past with their most streamed song titled "Black Mamba"
