CRAVITY Marks the Road to Their Comeback with 2020 SBS Gayo Daejeon Stage

Starship Entertainment's CRAVITY has once again proven its "Super Rookie" status by dominating their performance at the 2020 SBS Gayo Daejeon in Daegu.

In their stage show, CRAVITY's members Serim, Allen, Jungmo, Woobin, Wonjin, Minhee, Hyeongjun, Taeyoung, and Seongmin maintained an energized and perfectly synchronized performance and kept everyone's attention throughout their whole routine. The group surprised and delighted the audience and fans with an updated version of "Break All The Rules," which served as the title track for their debut EP "Season 1 Hideout: Remember Who We Are."

Coming out to the stage in their matching black and white outfits, CRAVITY immediately commanded respect and admiration with the electrifying intro. Against a background of moving lights and a completely digital screen, all nine members only stood out and made for a memorable performance.

Later on, in the show, CRAVITY returned for another performance, this time with girl group April. The two idol groups performed a timely stage for Christmas with "White," originally performed by Fin K.L.

SBS Gayo Daejeon

The SBS Gayo Daejeon, or "SBS Battle of the Bands," is an annual televised music festival broadcast by SBS as a year-end show, making its debut in 1997. The show for the 2020 SBS Gayo Daejeon was titled "The Wonder Year," and was hosted by three MCs: rapper Boom, Super Junior's Heechul, and April's very own Naeul.

Due to the COVID-19 restrictions, the 2020 SBS Gayo Daejeon was a pre-recorded event broadcast on December 25, instead of the traditional live broadcast. The event, however, remained large and star-studded, with K-pop groups - BTS, TWICE, GOT7, MONSTA X, MAMAMOO, ATEEZ, IZ*ONE, APRIL, CRAVITY, ENHYPEN, MOMOLAND< GFRIEND, ITZY, and aespa- in attendance.

Starship's Super Rookies

Since their debut in April with "Season 1 Hideout: Remember Who We Are" and its lead track, "Break All The Rules," CRAVITY has already made significant achievements and earned awards - thus being recognized as a super rookie group.

By releasing their second EP, "Season 2 Hideout: The New Day We Step Into," the group only soared to even more heights. It topped the Japanese Tower Records' album charts and topped seven regions on iTunes. Its lead single, "Flame," entered the Billboard K-Pop 100 at number 97, becoming the first 2020 rookie group to accomplish the feat.
