BTS Jungkook Drops Notes for 'Stay' + Idol's Selfie Becomes Second Most-Liked Tweet in 2021

ARMYs have another reason to rejoice as BTS is set to release the new edition of their "BE" album. Jin, Jimin, Jungkook, J-Hope, Suga, V and RM will launch the "BE: Essential Edition" album on Feb. 19.

BTS Continues to Drop Teasers For 'BE: Essential Edition'

BTS goes on to share some pieces of information about the upcoming "BE" Essential Edition" album through the notes series of each member. Suga released notes for the B-side track "Telepathy" while RM dropped his notes for the album's lead single titled "Life Goes On."

On Wednesday, Feb. 3, Jungkook dropped his notes for the track called "Stay" through the official Twitter account of BTS. The clip featured Jungkook sharing the demo version of the song. Other parts of the video showed the K-Pop idol writing words on paper, sharpening his pencil, scribbling, and peeking through a window.

At the moment, Jungkook's notes for "Stay" already garnered more than 869,700 likes and 401,500 comments. Suga's notes for "Telepathy" got more than 899,800 likes and 390,300 comments while RM's notes was liked more than 897,200 times with more than 376,900 comments.

The imminent "BE: Essential Edition" is said to feature all the eight songs included in the "BE: Deluxe Edition" album. However, ARMYs (BTS's fans) should expect that there will be added components in the upcoming new version.

To recall, BTS released the "BE: Deluxe Edition" album on Nov. 20, 2020. It is the second album that the seven-piece band released last year.

The group also dropped the "Map of the Soul:7" album on Feb. 21, 2020.

BTS made history with "Dynamite" after the track made it to the Billboard Hot 100 for two consecutive weeks. This, according to reports, is a first of its kind since no K-Pop act has ever achieved that feat before.

The septet, previously, revealed that the album aims to bring comfort and hope to their devoted supporters who got affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Meanwhile, Jungkook made another achievement when it was announced that his blonde hair selfie is, by far, the second most-liked tweet this year. The "Life Goes On" singer shared a snap of him sporting his new hairdo on Jan. 25, which effortlessly became the talk of the town again.

As of this writing, the tweet has garnered a total of 2.9 million likes, more than 800,000 retweets, and 1.6 million comments. World Music Awards even revealed that BTS member Jungkook is the only artist with 3 Tweets in the Top 15 Most Liked of All Time and the only artist with 3 Tweets in the Top 15 Most Retweeted of All Time.

U.S. President Joe Biden has the most liked post, so far, this year. The POTUS' first-ever tweet as the most powerful man in America got more than 4.2 million likes and more than 632,100 comments.
