GOT7 Launches New YouTube Channel + Surprisingly Drops 'ENCORE' MV Teaser
GOT7 has just opened a new YouTube channel, and a music video teaser for a new release has been already uploaded!
GOT7 Members Make Important Announcement via Their Instagram Stories
On Feb. 19, GOT7 surprised fans with mysterious Instagram stories, which seem to indicate the group has something coming for the fans. Six members each posted a letter that when all combined form the word, "ENCORE" - Yugyeom: E, Jinyoung: N, JB: C, Mark: O, Bambam: R, Youngjae: E. Meanwhile, Jackson posted a green heart - green is one of the band's official fandom colors, with the other one being white.

Because of the unexpected move from the K-pop boy group, the term "GOT7" quickly rose to the top of Twitter's worldwide trends, showing the global interest in the boy group's upcoming content. GOT7's leader JB also made a follow-up Instagram story in which he wrote, "I told you, we are not disbanding, right? Haha."
GOT7 Opens New YouTube Channel and Shares Music Video Teaser for "ENCORE"
While fans are still not over the septet's surprise announcement, some of the members shared a YouTube link via their Instagram stories on Feb. 20 at midnight KST, further exciting fans. This link directs to a 25-second clip titled "GOT7 'ENCORE' M/V TEASER," which serves as the first video uploaded to GOT7's new YouTube channel.
The black-and-white MV teaser presents precious moments of the GOT7 members hanging out together and just enjoying each other's company. Moreover, the clip quickly reached more than 30,000 views just an hour after it was dropped. Plus, the group's YouTube channel surpassed 100,000 subscribers.
In the teaser video's description, it can be seen that GOT7's "ENCORE" is set for launch on Feb. 20 at 6 p.m. KST. This will be the septet's first work since departing from JYP Entertainment in January. Also, it is the boy group's first release in almost three months since their fourth full-length album titled "Breath of Love: Last Piece," which comprises a total of 10 songs including the two title tracks "Breath" and "Last Piece."

"Breath of Love: Last Piece" is a very special album as some of the songs included in it were written and composed by the GOT7 members, with each of them working on one song. In addition to this, the album serves as the boy group's last release under JYP Entertainment.

Where are the GOT7 members now?
After their exclusive contracts with JYPE ended on Jan. 19, all seven members of the boy band left the agency and had gone their own ways with the hopes of achieving their individual dreams. Youngjae was the first GOT7 member who joined a new company, Sublime Artist Agency, which later established a joint venture with Jackson's label, TEAM WANG. Jackson has launched a new track titled "Alone."
The third member of the septet to be part of a new company is Jinyoung, who signed an exclusive contract with BH Entertainment, a popular acting agency. And recently, Yugyeom was revealed to be a new artist under AOMG.

Meanwhile, Mark is currently with his family in Los Angeles and he has recently established his own studio in China. He also unveiled during a live broadcast that he won't be joining any agency. Additionally, he has released a new song titled "One in a Million" with Sanjoy. On the other hand, GOT7's leader JB and rapper Bambam are yet to share what they plan on doing next.
