BTS, SHINee, Kim Wooseok, NCT & More: These Male K-Pop Acts Have the Highest Album Sales in February 2021

The month of March just started and now is the best time to look back on the K-pop acts and albums that performed well last month. On Tuesday, March 2, Hanteo revealed a list of male K-Pop acts who had the most album sales in February 2021.

Hanteo Ranks Male K-pop Acts with the Highest Album Sales Last Month

Topping the list is none other than BTS. The "BE: Deluxe Edition" album of Jin, Jimin, Jungkook, J-Hope, RM, V, and Suga has sold a whopping 628,600 copies in February 2021 alone. The second EP of the South Korean boyband in 2020 has, so far, sold more than 2.98 million copies since it was released on Nov. 20, 2020.

Securing second place is SHINee, who just made a comeback to the music scene after years of hiatus. Minho, Key, Onew, and Taemin's "Don't Call Me" album sold more than 127,200 copies last month. South Korean singer Kim Wooseok took the No. 3 spot with his "2nd Desire [Tasty]" album, which was purchased more than 86,970 times since its launch on Feb. 8, 2021.

NCT also made it to the list, at No. 4, with their "NCT 2018" album. As per Hanteo's records, the EP managed to sell more than 61,610 copies last month. Since its release on March 14, 2018, the said album already sold 294,400 copies.

Claiming the fifth and sixth spots are ONF and CIX. "ONF: My Name" by ONF sold 52,690 copies while "Hello Chapter Ø: Hello, Strange Dream" by CIX was bought more than 48,700 times in February.

Wei nabbed the seventh spot with its second mini-album called "Identity: Challenge." The said EP, with the carrier single "All or Nothing," sold 39,110 copies last month. J Don, then, followed in the eighth rank with his "On the Track" album, which sold 37,330 copies in February.

Wrapping the top 10 is NCT Dream, which claimed two spots -- No. 9 and No. 10 -- for its albums titled "We Boom" and "The First." According to Hanteo's records, "We Boom" sold more than 29,250 copies while "The First" was purchased more than 28,650 times last month.

Other K-pop acts who were included in the list were Wonho for "love Synonym Pt. 2" Right For Us" with 27,450 sold copies, CRAVITY for "Season 3. HIDEOUT: Be Our Voice" with more than 22,800 sold copies, U-Know for "Noir" with 21,300 sold copies, NCT Dream for "We Go Up" with more than 21,210 sold copies, and Yang Hoonil for "Day by Day" with 20,000 sold copies in February.

BTS Reigns Supreme in Recent Hanteo Sales List After Ranking Last in January

Meanwhile, many delighted to see BTS dominating the list after it placed No. 1 in the January 2021 ranking. At the time, the "BE: Deluxe Edition" album of Jin, Jimin, Jungkook, J-Hope, Suga, V, and RM sold 11,800 copies only.

NCT placed at No. 1 after selling 268,800 copies of "Resonance Pt. 2" in January 2021, followed by TREASURE for "The First Step: Treasure Effect" with 218,300 album sales, U-Know for "Noir" with 156,300 album sales, CRAVITY for "Season 3. HIDEOUT: Be Our Voice" with 82,700 album sales and ONEUS for "Devil" with more than 80,900 album sales at the time.
