BTS, BLACKPINK, TWICE & More: These are the Most Viewed K-pop Artists on YouTube in February 2021

Numerous K-pop acts have been dominating various music charts and streaming platforms, such as YouTube, lately. Recently, KGraph released the list of the most-viewed South Korean artists on YouTube in February 2021. Keep on reading to know if your idols made it to the list.

BTS, BLACKPINK & TWICE Had the Most Views on YouTube Last Month

BTS reigned supreme again as the BANGTAN boys topped the list. According to statistics, the combined charm and exemplary talents of Jin, Jimin, Jungkook, J-Hope, Suga, RM, and V helped them garner a total of 962,480,591 views in February 2021 alone. The official music videos of "Life Goes On," "DNA" and "Dynamite" are among the clips that generated the highest numbers of views this time.

Coming in second place is BLACKPINK. Thanks to all avid followers of Jennie, Lisa, Jisoo and Rosé for they were able to amass more than 679,000,000 views last month. Among the most popular videos by the foursome on YouTube are "Lovesick Girls," "How You Like That" and "Ice Cream."

TWICE, as expected, nabbed the third spot with a total of 260,682,883 views while South Korean popstar royalty IU got more than 118,600,000 views, which landed her to the No. 5 spot. Stray Kids, on the other hand, wrapped up the Top 5 after it generated a total of 104,854,806 views in February alone.

Other K-pop acts who made it to the list were PSY at No. 6 with 87,084,633 views, ITZY at No. 7 with 76,482,098 views, MAMAMOO at No. 8 with 74,482,098 views, SEVENTEEN at No. 9 with 72,896,758 views and RED VELVET at No. 10 with 67,202,591 views. EXO and BIGBANG also appeared on the list with 65,737,118 views and 63,283,013 views, respectively.

BTS Named as The Top Recording Artist in the World in 2020

Meanwhile, BTS reached another feat, recently, after the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry (IFPI) listed the Big Hit Entertainment-formed boyband as the top recording artist in the world in 2020. The organization recognized the fact that Jin, Jimin, Jungkook, J-Hope, Suga, RM, and V released a total of three full-lengths last year and made a myriad of records not only in South Korea but in several parts of the world.

Aside from BTS, other artists who made it to the IFPI's Top 10 list are Taylor Swift at No. 2, Drake at No. 3, The Weeknd at No. 4, Billie Eilish at No. 5, Eminem at No. 6, Post Maple at No. 7, Ariana Grande at No. 8, Juice WRLD at No. 9 and Justin Bieber at No. 10.

ARMYs are very much aware that BTS dropped three albums in 2020, namely: "Map of the Soul: 7," "Map of the Soul: 7 - The Journey," and "BE." Most of the tracks in all of these full length Eps made waves on several music charts worldwide, including BILLBOARD, Hanteo, MelOn, Spotify and iTunes.

The group was even pronounced as the most followed K-pop artist on Twitter and the K-pop artist with the most liked music videos on YouTube in February 2021. These victories simply prove that BTS is, indeed, the biggest boyband in the world.
