Their whole post reads:

"Hello. This is Starship Entertainment.

We would like to talk to you all about MONSTA X's Shownu.

On Mar. 8, Shownu was tested for coronavirus (COVID-19) at the request of the scheduling team in preparation for his upcoming personal schedules. On the afternoon of Mar. 9, the results of his test returned as inconclusive. After receiving the results, Shownu was retested immediately and will remain in self-isolation until we receive a negative test result.

Because of this, Shownu will sadly be absent from MONSTA X's online event today (Mar. 9) to promote their Japanese single release. We apologize to all the fans who have been waiting for a long time for MONSTA X's promotions and their first Japanese release in a while. We ask that for your understanding.

We will continue to follow COVID-19 quarantine guidelines set by the health officials. We promise that we will do our best to ensure the health and safety of our artists.

Thank you."
