MONSTA X to Make a Japanese Comeback with New Full-Length Album

After almost two months, MONSTA X will again release new music in Japan. This time, it will be a new full album, titled "Flavors of Love." It will be the group's first full-length Japanese album in roughly two years since their last Japanese album, "Phenomenon," which was launched in August 2019.

Their previous album saw success in Japan as it debuted at No. 2 on the Oricon Albums Chart and sold more than 56,000 copies in the country. "Phenomenon" also made it to the Billboard Japan Hot 100, claiming the second spot.

Moreover, three singles from the Japanese album were both certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of Japan (RIAJ), particularly the track "Livin' It Up" and the Japanese versions of "Shoot Out" and "Alligator."

MONSTA X's new Japanese album will be officially out on May 5. It will be comprised of a total of 11 songs, with five of them being new Japanese originals: "RE: VERSEDAY," "Secret," "Diamond Heart," "Flavors of Love," and "Detox." Some of the songs in the album are Japanese versions of their Korean title tracks such as "Follow," "FANTASIA," and "Love Killa." The other singles are their Japanese singles that have been issued beforehand.

Together with the announcement is a teaser video for "Flavors of Love," which showcases a softer and more adorable side of the six MONSTA X members.
