SHINee Makes Surprise Announcement to Conduct an Online Concert

On Friday, March 12, SM Entertainment's boy group SHINee has surprised many fans after announcing that they will hold an online concert, titled "SHINee World." This will mark the quartet's very first online concert, as well as their first group concert in over three years since their "SHINee World The Best 2018 ~From Now On~" concert in Japan back in February 2018.

Based on the concert poster uploaded on SHINee's official social media accounts, the SM Entertainment boy group will be conducting their "SHINee World" online concert on Sunday, April 4 at 3:00 p.m. KST. Shawols from all over the world can tune in to the event via Beyond LIVE, SM Entertainment and Naver's new online performance platform.

Fans can look forward to an afternoon full of spectacular performances by Minho, Onew, Key, and Taemin. They can also expect a medley of the group's hit songs, as well as tracks from SHINee's new album "Don't Call Me." 

The ticket sale for SHINee's online concert will start on March 18 at 3:00 p.m. KST. Tickets will be available for pre-sale via Naver's V Live+.

SHINee Earns Music Show Wins with "Don't Call Me" + New Song Continues to Rank High on Music Charts

SHINee's online concert, "SHINee World," follows their long-awaited comeback with the release of their new album titled "Don't Call Me" on Feb. 22. This is the boy group's first album after two and a half years. The new album is composed of nine songs of different genres, including the title track, also titled "Don't Call Me." The song expresses the emotions felt after being betrayed by love.

"Don't Call Me" has already earned Minho, Taemin, Key, and Onew several music show trophies. SHINee grabbed their first trophy for the single on the March 3 episode of "Show Champion." Since then, the quartet has continuously taken first place in various music shows.

SHINee's latest music show win is on the March 11 episode of "M Countdown," becoming their sixth win for "Don't Call Me."

Besides taking home trophies from music programs, SHINee has also been soaring high on music charts. As of March 12 at 1:00 a.m. KST, the boy group is at No. 2 on Genie, No. 6 on Bugs, No. 10 on FLO, and No. 45 on MelOn.

The SM Entertainment boy group also managed to make it to the latest Gaon Charts. SHINee debuted at No. 2 on the monthly album chart with "Don't Call Me," as well as on the weekly album chart. SHINee's new song ranked 13th on the weekly digital chart, while it is at No. 90 on the monthly digital chart.

The title track maintained its position at No. 3 on the weekly download chart, while it debuted at No. 6 on the monthly download chart. In the streaming category for the tenth week of 2021, SHINee's "Don't Call Me" is at No. 30.
