BTS V Earns Another First after His 'Black Swan' Fancam Surpasses 10 Million Views

BTS member V continues to attract the interest of people from different walks of like, which made him one of the most popular idols today. On Wednesday, March 17, the "Life Goes On" singer proved that he is the "King of Fancams." Keep on reading to know more about V's latest feat.

BTS V Retains the 'King of Fancams' Title

V holds the records for having the most viewed fancam in history. Most, if not all, fans of the BTS member are aware that the singer first broke the record in 2017 and dominated again in 2019 and 2020.

V made another feat after his fancam from "Black Swan" garnered a whooping 10 million views on YouTube. The record made V the only male K-pop idol with a total of seven fancams having over 10 million views on the popular video streaming platform.

Before "Black Swan," V also achieved the same records with his fancams from "Boy with Luv" with more than 132 million views, "ON" with 21.8 million views, "MIC Drop" with more than 18.8 million views, "DNA" with 13 million views, "Pied Piper" with more than 12.8 million views and "Airplane Pt. 2" with 10.6 million views.

If that is not enough, BTS member V also holds the record for the K-pop idol with most viewed official and non-official fancams on Facebook. Experts credit the outstanding stage presence of the "Dynamite" singer as the primary reason why he continues securing the "King of Fancams" title.

BTS V Drops Clues for His Upcoming Mixtape

Meanwhile, V gave out some hits for his mixtape in a clip uploaded on the official YouTube Channel of BTS in late February. The K-pop idol divulged that a total of 13 tracks would be included in his imminent solo mixtape.

BTS member V even revealed, during the global media conference for the group's "BE" album in November, that he is interested in Jazz and classic music. At the time, he made it clear that those mentioned music genres are not part of the band's EP but they would be for his very own project.

The South Korean superstar also admitted that he has a very small personal music spectrum. Despite that, BTS member V shared that he participated in producing and writing a total of 15 songs for the group and himself by far.

There is no official release date for V's forthcoming mixtape as of yet. He would become the fourth member of BYS to put out a mixtape, if things push through, following J-Hope, Suga and RM.

In an interview with Weverse Magazine, V revealed that he faced quite a number of quandaries while writing his mixtape. The BTS member shared that he composed "Blue & Grey" when he was at the "lowest point" of his life - the time when he was actually asking whether he could keep working or just stop and leave everything behind.

BTS member V also talked about his struggles with perfectionism. The idol said he wants the "KTH1" mixtape to be the best it can be, which is why he has had a hard time knowing when to stop working on its contents.
