BLACKPINK Rose achieved her first win as a solo artist with "On the Ground" on today's "Show Champion" broadcast!

On March 24, Rosé, the main vocalist of the "World's Biggest Girl Group" BLACKPINK, was hailed as No. 1 on this week's broadcast of Korean music show, MBC's Every1 "Show Champion."

The broadcast featured various performances coming from PENTAGON, WOODZ, Lim Young Woong, Drippin, Cypher, Purple Kiss, Mirae, Brave Girls, T-ara Soyeon, VERIVERY, Wei Young-ji, and Ghost9.

"On The Ground," which won Rosé the honor of first place, is a song that contains lyrics that say, "I've always run to higher places, but the important value is in me."

The song has been receiving enthusiastic responses since it first entered the 70th place of "Hot 100" on the latest chart released by Billboard on March 23.

It is indeed a nerve-wracking competition, as Rosé faced "K-pop Titan" Super Junior's "House Party," Korea's current most loved trot singer Lim Young Woong's "My Starry Love," "Reverse-running" girl group Brave Girls' "Rollin," and the multinational group Pentagon's "Do or Not."

In the end, Rosé's debut song broke numerous records for a solo artist atop the music show.

BLACKPINK Rosé Reigns Broke Highest K-pop Female Solo-Artist in Billboard "Hot 100"

On this day, BLACKPINK Rosé surpassed previous female solo artists' records as she broke the highest K-pop female solo artist ranking of all time on the Billboard main single chart in the U.S.

According to Billboard's latest chart released on the 23(local time), Rosé's solo single title song "On The Ground" debuted on the 70th place on "Hot 100."

The solo song by a K-pop female artist has been the best performance ever set on the Billboard "Hot 100" in the U.S. In particular, it is noteworthy that it is an achievement made only by the power of music itself when local activities cannot be carried out properly.

Hot 100 is the main chart of Billboard in the U.S. that aggregates all genres of music.
