MONSTA X once again dominates the Japanese charts - Oricon and Tower Records - with their latest single, "WANTED."

On a March 23 statement released by Starship Entertainment, the talent agency that manages MONSTA X, "MONSTA X not only ranked in second in the local Oricon weekly singles ranking (as of March 8 to 14), but also ranked second on the Tower Records weekly singles chart (as of March 8 to 14 and March 15 to 21) for two consecutive weeks."

"WANTED," the latest Japanese single from MONSTA X, is the lead single from the group's upcoming Japanese-language album. It is a track characterized by lyrics and heavy rhythms that draw parallels with MONSTA X's performances and standing in the world right now - WANTED all over. The music video for the new Japanese single has also been attracting attention from their MONBEBE around the world with the signature MONSTA X energy and attractive visuals.

Earlier, MONSTA X demonstrated their global stardom by topping Tower Records' "K-Pop Single Top 10 From the First Half of 2020," with the single "Wish on the Same Sky" released last April 2020. Four of their released tracks in the country - "Spotlight," "Livin' It Up," "Shoot Out," and "Alligator" - received the Gold Discs, a certification reserved for singles that sold more than 100,000 equivalent sales locally. They also secured the top spot with "Shoot Out" and "Alligator" in the K-Pop Single Top 10 for the first half of 2019.

The latest achievement marks the third consecutive year that the Starship Entertainment boy group placed in the Japanese singles charts, proving the consistent love and support from their Japanese MONBEBE, as well as continuing their growth as a global group.

Prior to their upcoming album, MONSTA X has previously made waves with the critically and commercially successful third studio album, "Fatal Love," led by its title track "Love Killa," both released last November. Additionally, despite the travel restriction and limitations on live performances because of the pandemic, MONSTA X found ways to stay connected with their beloved MONBEBE. The group recently held the MX University, a virtual fan convention held through their official Naver V LIVE channel, from March 6 to 7.
