The Thai rapper has been leading in terms of followers count on various social media platforms for years already, which proves that Lisa is one of the most popular and influential artists in the world. Her BLACKPINK co-members, on the other hand, have also been garnering a significant number of followers on Instagram.

After Lisa, BLACKPINK member Jennie comes second with more than 42.1 million followers on the popular photo-sharing website. Both Jisoo and Rosé, on the other hand, have a total of 38.1 million followers each as of press time.

Other K-pop artists with the greatest number of followers on Instagram include EXO member Chanyeol with 22.8 million followers, GOT7 member Jackson Wan with 22.6 million followers, EXO's Sehun with 21.4 million followers, EXO member Baekhyun with 20.5 million followers, BIGBANG's G-Dragon with 19.6 million followers and South Korean pop star IU with 19.5 million followers.

BLACKPINK Lisa is expected to amass more followers after her up-and-coming solo debut. YG Entertainment, previously, confirmed that the co-member of Jennie, Jisoo, and Rosé would release her first-ever solo track before 2021 officially ends.

However, details about the imminent solo debut of Lisa remain limited as of press time. So, devoted supporters of the BLACKPINK member should keep their fingers crossed and continue hoping that everything would push through as planned.

Most, if not all, fans are aware that BLACKPINK Lisa is thousands of miles away from her family, who are all based in Thailand. The "How You Like That" singer also lamented the fact that the present COVID-19 pandemic has prevented her from flying to her homeland and get together with her loved ones.

Despite this, Lisa opted to look into the bright side and, instead, thanked all BLINKs for their unwavering love and support. The BLACKPINK member shared that she felt lucky to have the chance to celebrate the #LalisaDay with her millions of followers around the globe, saying that she is very grateful to them for making her birthday so special every year.
