Stray Kids is taking the lead in terms of YouTube views with their "MIROH" performance video in the Mnet "Kingdom" Episode 1. As of April 5, "MIROH" is millions far from the views of the videos of the other competing groups.

Mnet "Kingdom" Episode 1: Boy Groups Go One-On-One in a 100-Second Performance Battle

On April 1, Mnet's "Kingdom: Legendary War" broadcasted its first episode where the six competing groups performed one of their hit songs for a total of 100 seconds. The order of the stages was decided on the spot, with the participants volunteering on who will go first and who follows.

ATEEZ was the first one to perform with "WAVE: Overture," featuring their distinct pirate concept. Next was BTOB with a sentimental ballad stage of "Beautiful Pain." It was followed by performances of SF9's "Good Guy," Stray Kids' "MIROH," The Boyz's "The Stealer," and iKON's "RHYTHM TA."

The 100-second performance battle was broadcasted online back in February. At that time, global fans voted for three groups each - and the rankings for this round were determined based wholly on fan votes.

On the same day, Mnet uploaded the performance videos of The Boyz, Stray Kids, ATEEZ, iKON, BTOB, and SF9 to their official YouTube channel.

For starters, video streaming on YouTube and Naver TV is one of the means of voting for your favorite group in Mnet's "Kingdom," aside from directly voting through the Whosfan application. Hence, gaining lots of YouTube views for the contestants' performance videos is crucial.

Stray Kids' "MIROH" Has the Highest YouTube Views among the Performance Videos for Mnet "Kingdom Episode 1

The performance videos of the competing groups were posted on Mnet's YouTube channel on April 1 at 10 p.m. KST. The video ranked in the top 10 of YouTube's trending videos on April 2 with viewers coming from different countries such as Mexico, Peru, Japan, and Spain.

On April 4, the full version of Stray Kids' "MIROH" had the highest views among the clips. It gained five million views at 12:49 p.m. KST on that day. Stray Kids was the only participating team on Mnet's "Kingdom" to reach this number of views.

And as of noon KST on April 5, Stay Kids' "MIROH" has surpassed five million views. In particular, the video has hit 5.87 million views. The performance videos of the six competing groups have exceeded 15.58 million views overall.

Rankings for the Mnet "Kingdom" Episode 1: Introduction Stage

Meanwhile, half of the results of the global votes for the Mnet "Kingdom" Episode 1 have been revealed. In third place is BTOB with 540,621 votes, next is SF9 with 533,458 votes, and then ATEEZ with 504,215 votes. The first, second, and sixth places are yet to be unveiled in the second episode of the show.

The upcoming episode was teased with a preview uploaded to Mnet's YouTube channel on April 2. Parts of the group's performances were shown in the video, along with the announcement of the team who placed first in episode 1.
