(G)I-DLE Soojin Slammed for Staying Silent after Seo Shin Ae Claimed She Was Bullied by the Idol

(G)I-DLE Soojin Remains Silent Following Seo Shin Ae's Statement Claiming She Was Bullied by the Idol
On Mar. 26, Seo Shin shared a lengthy post to her Instagram where she publicly confirmed she was a victim of (G)I-DLE member Soojin's school violence.
In her statement, she claimed Soojin would harass her wherever Seo Shin Ae went, whether it be on the way to school, in the hallway, or in the cafeteria. Seo Shin Ae claims that Soojin would personally attack her appearance, saying that she is not pretty and that she is a celebrity who is past her prime.
Seo Shin Ae confirmed that the two had never had a conversation, but said it was because it was only Soojin who would harass her, and Seo Shin Ae would not fight back.
Seo Shin Ae expressed disappointment that Soojin continuously denies remembering the harassment she inflicted on her.

Prior to Seo Shin Ae's statement, Soojin had released a letter detailing and countering all the bullying claims made against her.
In her letter, she specifically demands Seo Shin Ae to release a statement, saying, "Every time I revealed a new statement about the situation, actress Seo Shin Ae would post at the same time, causing many people to misunderstand and believe I committed school violence against her. I strongly request Seo Shin Ae to reveal her stance on this, as I am innocent."

It has been eleven days since Seo Shin Ae has released her statement. Though it appears Soojin and CUBE Entertainment were originally confident that Seo Shin Ae's statement would clear them from bullying allegations, it has done the opposite, and they have since gone silent concerning the situation.
Their silences have led to immense backlash. Many are now wondering if Soojin and CUBE Entertainment have something to hide, and that is why they are turning their back against Seo Shin Ae's statement.
Previously, CUBE Entertainment filed a defamation suit against the first netizen who accused Soojin of being a perpetrator of school violence and has threatened legal actions against anyone who spread false and malicious information.
(G)I-DLE fans, on the other hand, are patiently waiting for Soojin to respond to Seo Shin Ae's allegations against her. Many believe that this will determine if she will remain as a member of (G)I-DLE and as an artist under CUBE Entertainment.
