IU, BLACKPINK Rosé, & More Enter Latest List of 'Top 10 Digital Songs in Korea'

Well-known K-pop artists such as IU, BLACKPINK Rosé, Brave Girls, and Highlight Yoseob made it to this week's "Top 10 Digital Songs in Korea."

On April 10, World Music Awards took to their social media accounts to reveal the rankings for the "Top 10 Digital Songs in Korea" for the fourteenth week of 2021.

IU, who made a comeback in March with her new album, "LILAC," occupied a total of six spots on the list. Other positions are claimed by Brave Girls, BLACKPINK Rosé, and Highlight Yoseob & Apink Eunji.

IU Claims Six Spots on This Week's "Top 10 Digital Songs in Korea"

IU has proven her title of being the "Nation's Sweetheart" as she impressively secured almost all of the spots on the latest "Top 10 Digital Songs in Korea." Out of the 10 songs from her new album "LILAC," six of them entered this week's list.

According to the World Music Awards, IU dominated as No. 1 on the list with her new song "LILAC." This solo track even ranked first on the Gaon Digital and Streaming charts in Korea for the 14th week of 2021, earning IU a double crown.

Gaon Chart revealed that IU's "LILAC" attained a total of 48,610,867 points on the Digital Chart. The single also entered the monthly Gaon Digital Chart, claiming the No. 16 spot with 56,816,146 points.

Sitting at No. 3 is IU's "Celebrity," which is one of the most-listened-to songs in Korea at the moment since it never left the major music charts in the country, and it continues to soar high on the charts alongside "LILAC."

Both "LILAC" and "Celebrity" have attained more than 100 hourly perfect all-kill on Korean music charts. IU has even become the first and only Korean artist to have 20 songs achieving a perfect all-kill.

Other songs by IU on this week's "Top 10 Digital Songs in Korea" are "Coin" at No. 4, "Flu" at No. 7, "Hi Spring Bye" at No. 8, and "Troll" featuring DEAN at No. 10.

Brave Girls, BLACKPINK Rosé, & More Enter the Latest List of "Top 10 Digital Songs in Korea"

Apart from IU, Korean acts such as Brave Girls, BLACKPINK Rosé, and Highlight Yoseob & Apink Eunji made it to this week's list.

Brave Girls, who recently garnered popularity in Korea, secured the No. 2 position on the "Top 10 Digital Songs in Korea" with their 2017 song "Rollin'" that went viral in the country. Because of its sudden resurgence on the charts, "Rollin'" is now the girl group song with the longest perfect all-kill.

BLACKPINK Rosé, who made her much-anticipated solo debut in March, also entered the latest rankings. Her solo track "On The Ground" is in sixth place this week. Following her solo debut, Rosé has been breaking and setting records on YouTube and major Korean and international music charts, proving her exceptional popularity not only in South Korea but also overseas.

The last K-pop artist on the list is Highlight's Yoseob & Apink Eunji with "Love Day." The song serves as the theme song for the Naver webtoon, "The Guide to Right Love." "Love Day" took ninth place on the "Top Digital Songs in Korea" list.

The No. 5 position on the list was claimed by Korean trot singer Lim Youngwoong with "My Starry Love."
