BLACKPINK Rosé's Music Video for "Gone" is the Most-Watched K-Pop Music Video for the 15th Week of 2021

On Apr. 5, 2021, YG Entertainment dropped the music video for "Gone," a b-sidetrack from Rosé's debut extended play, "-R-." From its release date to Apr. 10, the music video snagged 34,104,170 views, making it the most-viewed music video for the week.

The mentioned music video surpassed 10 million views on YouTube in half a day of its release. Within the first 24 hours of its release, "Gone" amassed 15 million views, making it the fourth-biggest 24-hour debut by a K-pop female soloist.

Visually, the music video shows Rosé on an emotional roller coaster as she reminisces on a past lover. The music video started with Rosé in a furry green jacket as she wakes up on a candlelit bathroom floor. As she opens her eyes, we see she is next to a bathtub.

"Gone" is full of scenes in which Rosé is happy with a lover, playing chess with them, smelling the roses, and twirling around the house holding a handheld camera. The scenes then shift to show Rosé distraught over a lost love.

ASTRO's "ONE" is the Second Most-Watched K-Pop Music Video for the 15th Week of 2021

Occupying the second-place spot is ASTRO and their music video for "ONE." From its release on Apr. 5 to Apr. 10, the music video garnered 17,360,721 views.

Coincidentally, ASTRO's music video for "ONE" was released the same day as Rosé's music video for "Gone."

"ONE" is the title track of ASTRO's second full-length album, "All Yours."

Within the first day of the album's release, "All Yours" sold a total of 92,064 copies, making it the highest first-day album sales of the week. In the next two days of its release, the album sold more than 10,000 copies, selling 12,959 albums the second day and 10,701 copies the third day.

BTS's "Dynamite" is the Third Most-Watched K-Pop Music Video for the 15th Week of 2021

"Dynamite" shows no signs of slowing down! Though the music video was released on Aug. 21, 2020, the music video has not left K-Pop Radar's "Weekly Top 10 Music Videos" chart since its release!

From Apr. 4 to Apr. 10, "Dynamite" gained 16,665,497 new views. On Apr. 12, "Dynamite" surpassed one billion views on YouTube, doing so in less than eight months of its release.

"Dynamite" broke the record for the biggest music video premiere on the platform, a record previously held by BLACKPINK for "How You Like That," amassing 3 million concurrent viewers at its peak. The music video currently has the record for the most viewed video in the first 24 hours of its release, garnering 101.1 million views. "Dynamite" gained 10 million views after only 20 minutes of its premiere.

"Dynamite" is the fastest music video to surpass 200 million and 400 million views. It is also the fastest music video by a group and an Asian artist to reach 500 million views.

"Dynamite" is the fastest music video by a Korean artist to surpass 600 million views. Additionally, it is the fastest music video by a Korean group to achieve 800-900 million views.
