BLACKPINK member Rosé continues to make for herself more than a month since she released her very first solo album titled "-R-." On Tuesday, April 20, it was reported that the co-member of Lisa, Jennie and Jisoo made another feat after her album sold a total of 500,000 copies on Hanteo.

BLACKPINK Rosé Breaks A New Record on Hanteo

Rosé just added another color to her already-colorful banner after her first solo album broke the 500,000 sales mark on Hanteo. The latest feat made the "On the Ground" songstress member the very first female K-pop soloist and the second K-pop female act after BLACKPINK to achieve such a milestone.

Not only that because the "-R-" album of BLACKPINK member Rosé has also been making waves in several other online music streaming platforms such as Spotify. As a matter of fact, the EP already amassed a total of 117.6 million streams on the said site. "On the Ground" has generated more than 73 million streams while "GONE" got 18.4 million streams as of this writing.

Earlier this week, the Guinness World Records confirmed that BLACKPINK Rosé just set two new titles with her debut single called "On the Ground." According to reports, the official music video of the said track is the most viewed YouTube MV in 24 hours by a solo K-pop artist, garnering more than 41.6 million views on its first 24 hours.

"On the Ground" by BLACKPINK member Rosé surpassed the previous record of PSY's "Gangnam Style" with 36 million views on its first day. The K-pop idols also became the first artist to reach the No. 1 spot on the Billboard Global 200 Chart as a solo artist and as part of a band.

If that is not enough, the "-R-" album also dominated the United World Chart and was pronounced as the bestselling album by a female soloist in Gaon and Hanteo. The first-ever solo EP of BLACKPINK member Rosé was also named as the best-selling single album in China in 2021 so far, after selling more than 1.5 million copies as of press time.

BLACKPINK Rosé's 'GONE' MV Hits 50 Million Views

Meanwhile, the official music video of "GONE" by BLACKPINK member Rosé also reached another milestone after surpassing the 50 million views mark. It has been roughly two weeks since the clip was released, and it already made 4 million likes and more than 694,000 comments since.

The "On the Ground" music video, on the other hand, is currently just one million away from hitting the 150 million views mark. As of this writing, the said clip already amassed more than 7.9 million likes and more than 1.76 million comments. These statistics are projected to increase in the coming days as more and more fans continue to listen and tune in on to Rosé's solo tracks.

For starters, Rosé, who is known as Roseanne Park in real life, was the last member to join BLACKPINK, with her arrival announced merely two months prior to the official release of their debut album titled "Square One." The YG Entertainment-formed group has nabbed several awards since their launch in 2016.
