ENHYPEN Becomes the First 2020 Rookie Group to Achieve This Milestone

ENHYPEN, among the 2020 rookie groups, has become the first to attain this feat on a music show!

On April 26, the Big Hit artist made their first-ever comeback with a new mini-album titled "BORDER: CARNIVAL" alongside the music video for the title track, "Drunk-Dazed." The following week, ENHYPEN began to take home music show trophies.

ENHYPEN is the First 2020 Rookie Group to Win on Music Bank

On the May 7 episode of KBS's "Music Bank," ENHYPEN's "Drunk-Dazed" was a candidate for first place along with Brave Girls' hit song "Rollin'." The new boy group was announced as the winner with 6,275 points over 4,750 points of the girl group.

With this, ENHYPEN has become the first act among the rookie groups that debuted in 2020 to take home a trophy from "Music Bank."

On the day of the broadcast, the septet thanked the fans with whom they are attaining great achievements, as well as the company staff and Bang Si Hyuk, who participated in making their comeback song "Drunk-Dazed."

They also expressed their gratitude to their senior artists under HYBE Labels who continuously guide them.

The boy group's "Music Bank" trophy marked their third win for "Drunk-Dazed." ENHYPEN took their first win on "The Show" where they beat AB6IX's "CLOSE" and ONF's "Ugly Dance."

Their second win was on "Show Champion" where they took victory over NU'EST's "INSIDE OUT," ONF's "Ugly Dance," and Davichi's "Just Hug Me."

ENHYPEN's fans, generally called ENGENE, gave the boys congratulatory messages via their social media accounts.

After the broadcast of the May 7 episode of "Music Bank," fans trended the hashtag "#ENHYPEN3rdWin" on Twitter to congratulate the 2020 rookie group on their third trophy for "Drunk-Dazed."

The hashtag ranked first in the real-time trends on Twitter globally and ranked second in the real-time trends on the platform in Korea. It also entered the top 50 real-time Twitter trends in 13 countries including the United States and Japan.

Another hashtag related to ENHYPEN, which is "#DrunkDazed3rdWin," also ranked in the top 50 real-time trends in seven countries including Korea (No. 3) and Japan (No. 6).

ENHYPEN's Other Recent Achievements with "Drunk-Dazed"

ENHYPEN has seen such a great rise in popularity in the second week of the release of their new song "Drunk-Dazed." The track steadily climbed up the Spotify Korea Top 200 rankings, as well as on the Global Top 200.

On the day of release, April 26, ENHYPEN's "Drunk-Dazed" debuted at No. 195. This is the first time the rookie group entered the Spotify Top 200 chart. The song then jumped 36 places to No. 159 on the next day.

The new boy group's growing popularity can also be seen in the music video for "Drunk-Dazed." When the MV was dropped on April 26, the number of global viewers was 418,200, showing an increase of about 81% compared to the 23,841 views set by their debut song "Given-Taken" in November last year.

On May 1 and 2, the MV gained 46,600 and 45,830 YouTube views, respectively. As of May 8, the music video for ENHYPEN's "Drunk-Dazed" has more than 17.9 million views.
