Red Velvet, Secret Number, and More: FanPlus Mini Awards Announce Results for Best Girl Group Contest
In a recent poll conducted by the FanPlus Mini Awards, fans were able to vote for their favorite girl group. The first place and second place winners will each win an LED advertisement.

Red Velvet is the FanPlus Mini Awards' Best Girl Group
From Apr. 28 to May 20, FanPlus held a poll titled "The Best Girl Group Contest" for the FanPlus Mini Awards. Fans are able to vote for their favorite girl group through tickets.
The first place winner scores an advertisement and Yongsan iPark Mall, a mega shopping and entertainment complex located in downtown Seoul.
The complex averages 150,000 visitors daily. The ad will run for a week.
Second place gets a subway CM board advertisement, which will also run for a week.
Sitting in the first place and winning the Yongsan iPark Mall is Red Velvet! The SM Entertainment group scored 181,781,132 votes.
Red Velvet has not had any group activities since Jan. 1, 2021. Their last activity as five members was for SM Entertainment's SMTOWN Live "Culture Humanity" online concert, where the girls were one of the artists performing. The online show was broadcast live on the company's YouTube channel.

The girls have since pursued solo careers. Wendy, who became the first Red Velvet member to debut as a soloist, released her debut mini-album "Like Water" on Apr. 5. Joy will be the second member to debut as a soloist with the remake album "Hello."

Seulgi is currently the MC of a web music program titled "The Wise Music Encyclopedia." Yeri, on the other hand, is filming for the web drama "Blue Birthday." Irene's last activity was back in Feb. 2021, when she appeared at the premiere for her film "Double Patty."
Secret Number is the Second Best Girl Group, According to the FanPlus Mini Awards
Snagging second place and winning the subway CM ad is Secret Number, who garnered 157,959,544 votes.
Secret Number's last comeback was on Nov. 4, 2021, with their second single album, "Got That Boom." The album peaked at number 20 on the Gaon Album Chart. They made their debut on May 19, 2020, with the single album "Who Dis?," which peaked at number 19 on the Gaon Album Chart.
The girl group won the "Best New Female Artist" award at the 2020 Asia Artist Awards (AAAs).
