Are we about to see a Tila Tequila comeback? Myspace phenomenon and MTV reality star Tila Tequila’s Facebook messages have been hinting that she’s writing a book and upcoming music has been leaked on the net. Last week the indie action film “Masterminds” was released to little fanfare. The Tila Tequila starrer looks headed for B-movie notoriety.

It’s been over a month since Tila Tequila won the dubious HuffPost honor of “Weirdest Celebrity Video Ever” for a YouTube entry showing her using her superpowers to create energy balls out of thin air. There are online accusations that Tila has been hypnotizing her followers, who call themselves Tila’s Army, with subliminal messaging in her controversial videos.

Most recent reports about Tila have focused on her ongoing efforts to expose the Illuminati, a behind-the-scenes powerhouse that is reputed to be a satanic cabal that controls the world. Her efforts have been linked to a near-fatal brain aneurism she suffered last year. But it looks like she’s turning that around.

Tila Tequila’s new movie was directed by David "Cowboy" Keary, who also made the gritty inner city film, "MoneyMakers" in 2010 and stars Nick Hogan, Hulk Hogan’s son. Previously, Tila appeared in the films "I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry" in 2007. But she’s best-known for her reality TV dating competition series “A Shot at Love with Tila Tequila” and her role on the William Shatner network comedy, “$#!T My Dad Says.”

According to the movie’s official website “Masterminds” is about:

“A legitimate businessman named Rocket (Tray Chaney) sets up a sophisticated underground scheme to steal from criminals around the city, so that he may avoid legal ramifications. He performs mastermind plots that involve fake police busts, internet embezzlement, tracking devices, hidden cameras, tapped phones, and other sophisticated means to track and steal from his targets. He generally indentifies his targets through his upscale nightclub & showcase. For one particular target he chooses to use his girlfriend Monae (Miss Tila) to help set the victim up. Although reluctant, she is forced to agree. She helps Rocket get information on the target and assists in stealing a large amount of money from him. Rocket’s greed gets the best of him and he instructs her to continue seeing the target in hopes of getting more money. Monae eventually starts developing real feelings for the target and begins feeling guilty about her role in the plot. Rocket notices Monae is getting very comfortable with the target and becomes jealous himself. His jealousy turns into rage and he begins abusing Monae. Monae becomes fed up with the abuse and confesses to the target her role in the robbery scheme. She also proposes that they take the money back from Rocket and skip town. By revealing the plot to the target, Monae throws Rocket’s plan for a loop, and gets him mixed in with a dangerous Drug Cartel. The Cartel and the target confront Rocket at his place of business when all hell breaks loose.”

Tila was born Tila Nguyen, she got her Tequila nickname from near fatal drinking experience. Ironically, Miss Tila Tequila is allergic to alcohol.
