BIGBANG's 'Made: The Movie' is Coming to Netflix

Get your popcorns ready, VIPs. BIGBANG Made: The Movie is coming to Netflix soon!

On June 29, KST, media outlets reported that BIGBANG's documentary film of their world tour back in 2015 will be premiering on the streaming platform Netflix soon, as seen on the platform's "Coming Soon" section.

According to the "Coming Soon" section, "Made: The Movie" is set to premiere this coming Thursday, July 1, 2021.

BIGBANG Made: The Movie is Coming to Netflix

"Made: The Movie" was originally released back in June 2016, which features behind-the-stage footage of the five members of the group as they go on and off stage during their Made World Tour in 2015, which was the most attended tour headlined by a Korean act at the time. The film showcases the group up close and personal as they tour and perform in 32 cities across 13 different countries worldwide in a span of 340 days.

Not only that but the Made World Tour was BIGBANG's first tour following their hiatus of three years. In addition, "Made: The Movie" is BIGBANG's first film release, which was released to celebrate the group's 10th anniversary since their debut back on August 19, 2006.

Upon finding out that "Made: The Movie" is coming to Netflix, "BIGBANG" immediately trended on various social media platforms, especially on Twitter with more than 17,000 tweets. V.I.Ps - BIGBANG's fans - took to their social media accounts to share how excited they were about the upcoming movie and to relive BIGBANG's amazing and jaw-dropping performances.

BIGBANG, also known as Big Bang, made their debut back on August 19, 2006, under YG Entertainment and consisted of five members - T.O.P, G-Dragon, Taeyang, Daesung, and Seungri.

The group became one of the best-selling and top-performing artists in the K-Pop industry, being dubbed as the "Kings of K-Pop" and known as the group who made significant and influential contributions to the rise of Hallyu.

From 2009 to 2016, BIGBANG was named by Forbes Korea as one of the most powerful celebrities in South Korea, and became the first Korean artists to be selected in Forbes Celebrity 100 back in 2016, as well Forbes 30 Under 30 of most influential musicians around the world in 2017.

Since their debut, BIGBANG has released a total of eight studio albums, eight extended plays, 10 live albums, eight compilation albums, four single albums, and 35 singles - all of which won numerous awards and attained worldwide success.

Besides that, the members also pursued their own solo careers and released their own albums.

In 2019, Seungri departed from the group and retired from the entertainment industry following his Burning Sun scandal. In 2020, the remaining four members of the group renewed their contracts with YG Entertainment and are preparing for a comeback.
