Pia Zadora Arrested After Attacking Son And Stepson, Resisted Police By Shutting Her Family Inside The House

Pia Zadora, 61-year-old singer/actress, faces domestic battery charges after allegedly choking her son and attacking her stepson this past weekend.

Zadora was arrested Saturday at her Last Vegas home after an altercation erupted with her 16-year-old son, Jordan, when he refused to go to bed at a "timely hour."

According to USA Today, Jordan refused Zadora's bedtime pleas because he wanted to talk to his stepbrother outside, and Zadora subsequently sprayed them both with a hose.

Zadora has been married three times and has three children, Jordan Maxwell Kaufer (with writer-director Jonathan Kaufer), Kady Zadora, and Kristofer Barzie (with businessman Meshulam Riklis). Presumably, the altercation involved Jordan and Kristofer.

As Kristofer attempted to calm Pia down, she began to attack Jordan, reportedly punching him and scratching his face.

Eventually Jordan managed to call 911, and claimed Pia tried to stop him by choking him.

By the time the cops came, everyone including Zadora, her son and stepson, and husband Las Vegas police detective Michael Jeffries refused to evacuate the house. As a result, the police formed a perimeter around the house.  Eventually Jordan and Zadora exited the home to speak to the cops.

Pia Zadora was released after posting a $4,000 bail.

Pia began as a Broadway actress, but came under the national spotlight for the 1981 film "Butterfly," winning her a 1982 Razzie Award for "Worst Actress" and "Worst New Star."
