News Outlet Selects 6+ Best B-Side Tracks Released this July: Which is Your Favorite?

From SF9 to EXO D.O., July is indeed full-packed with incredible releases! But aside from title tracks, which B-Side tracks from this month's comebacks and albums attracted music fans' interests the most? Read more to know the full list!

Before the month of July ends, a Korean reporter from Sports DongA, Jeon Hyo Jin, selected six b-side tracks released from July 1 to July 29.

Though the title tracks are the songs being mainly promoted, the reporter along the news outlet highlighted "hidden gems" that also deserve more recognition.

In the list, SF9's "Believer" from its ninth mini-album, "TURN OVER," is one of the selected B-Side tracks. Jeon explained, "It gets better the more that you listen to it."

The track was actually performed in the finale of Mnet's "Kingdom: Legendary War" as a competition song. The reporter then highlighted how it sharpens SF9's unique color.

Along with SF9, DAY6's sub-unit Even of Day tracks also entered the list. This time, the news outlet chose two songs from its second mini-album, "Right Through Me" – including "WALK" and "Home Alone."

Jeon pointed that the songs' beautiful lyrics protect the listeners' self-esteem, not to mention how the band sounds superb.

Furthermore, AKMU, who kicked off with their collaboration album "NEXT EPISODE," also deserved more praise for its tracks, "Hey Kid, Close Your Eyes" (ft. Lee Sun Hee), and "EVEREST" (ft. Sam Kim).

Jeon described the tracks as, "...songs with lyrics that make people think they are making reasons, seamless melodies, wide genres, and even the selection of collaborators that fit the mood of the song are praiseworthy."

Soyeon's 'Pyscho,' D.O's 'I'm Gonna Love You' & More: Best B-Side Tracks Released by Solo Artists this July

Meanwhile, among the idol-soloists who flaunted their individual charisma and power, Soyeon drew the attention of Jeon for her tracks, "Psycho" and "Is this bad **** number? (Feat. BIBI, Lee Young Ji)

Aside from praising Soyeon of (G)I-DLE's self-production capability, the report also emphasized her potential to rise more in the music market as a solo artist.

 EXO D.O., "I'm Gonna Love You" (feat. Wonstein) is also on the list. Kyungsoo, or also known as D.O., is now marking the K-pop scene with his own name after releasing his first mini-album in nine years since his debut.

 Jeon said, "He has a handsome voice just like his visual, and he also flexibly digested pop genre songs with a sense of rhythm like an all-around celebrity."

Lastly, Jeon selected John Park's "Strangers" (feat. Youra) for his rare and perfect exhibition of his mid to low voice.
