Oh My Girl Now Has the Two Longest-Running Song by a K-pop Girl Group in MelOn History
Oh My Girl has claimed both the first and second places on the list of longest-running songs by a K-pop girl group on MelOn, proving the popularity of their songs in South Korea.
On Aug. 27, WM Entertainment announced that Oh My Girl's two songs from their seventh mini-album "Nonstop" achieved a record of staying on the MelOn chart for the longest time among the songs released by girl groups since 2014.
MelOn is the largest streaming platform in South Korea, and all Korean music lovers, including K-pop fans, utilize it. Hence, when a K-pop song stays on its charts, it demonstrates the popularity of the track among the Korean public.
OH My Girl Has the Two Longest-Charting Song by a K-pop Girl Group on MelOn in History
As of Aug. 26, Oh My Girl's "Dolphin," has stayed on MelOn Daily Chart for a total of 480 days after its release in April 2020.
Considering this, "Dolphin" is now the second-longest-running song by a K-pop girl group on MelOn, surpassing TWICE's "Cheer Up," which set a record of 479 days.

"Dolphin" is a popular B-side song from Oh My Girl's "NONSTOP" album. And it has been ranking on Korean music charts since it was revealed.
On Aug. 20, the album's title song, also called "Nonstop," broke the tie with TWICE's "Cheer Up" as the longest-running song by a K-pop girl group on MelOn as it also achieved its 480th day in the rankings.
Oh My Girl's "Nonstop" then extended its record as it has attained its 486th day on MelOn Daily Chart on Aug. 26.

Since "Nonstop" and "Dolphin" consistently rank on the MelOn chart, Oh My Girl now has the two longest-running songs by a K-pop girl group on MelOn in history.
It is expected that the two tracks will continuously count their days on MelOn as they remain among the popular K-pop songs even more than a year has passed since they were released.

Oh My Girl Hit Songs Enter Various Gaon Charts for Week 34 of 2021
Meanwhile, Oh My Girl also consistently ranks on the Gaon Chart with their smash hits "Dun Dun Dance," "Nonstop," and "Dolphin."
On Aug. 26, Gaon Chart has released the rankings for Week 34 of 2021 or the week of Aug. 15 to 21.
Oh My Girl's highest-ranking song on the Gaon Digital Chart for the said week is their new song "Dun Dun Dance," which climbed down to No. 15 with 14,609,445 digital points.

Next is "Dolphin," which maintained its position at No. 49 with 7,579,691 digital points. Then, plummeted to No. 86 with 5,601,729 digital points.
On the Gaon Download Chart, Oh My Girl's "Dun Dun Dance" placed No. 64, while "Dolphin" climbed down to No. 168.
"Dun Dun Dance" also made it to the newest Gaon Streaming Chart, taking the No. 15 spot. Meanwhile, "Dolphin" secured the No. 48 place, and "Nonstop" grabbed the No. 82 position.
