Why Was Son Naeun Not Included in Apink Profile Photos Pictorial?
On August 13, Apink member Yoon Bomi conducted a live broadcast through her YouTube channel. On this day, Boomi took the time to communicate with fans by reading comments in real-time.
During this time, on Apink's Instagram account, profile photos of the members were shared except for Naeun. The account also posted pictures of the group celebrating Apink's 10th anniversary and Bomi's birthday, where Naeun was notably absent.
Many people had asked Bomi why Naeun was the only member missing from the group. When she noticed a comment mentioning the situation, Bomi replied, "It is a pity that Naeun was not there. However, this was a schedule we had inside the company."
Back on April 29, 2021, Play M Entertainment announced that Son Naeun had not renewed her contract with the company while the other five members — Chorong, Bomi, Eunji, Namjoo, and Hayoung — had renewed their contracts with Play M Entertainment. They stated that though Naeun had left the company, the group would remain six members.

In May 2021, it was announced that Son Naeun signed a contract with YG Entertainment as an actress. Though she is focusing on her career as an actress, for the time being, she plans to continue her team activities with Apink in the future.

Bomi continued to explain the situation, saying, "It was a personal schedule that we all did together rather than a schedule for Apink."
As it was a personal profile photoshoot that was conducted by Apink's agency and was not necessarily a group schedule, Son Naeun was absent. In addition, Bomi's birthday photo was also taken while they were in the middle of the shoot, which explains why Naeun was unable to celebrate with the group.
