BLACKPINK Lisa to Release Exclusive Performance Video of 'MONEY'
On September 20 at midnight, KST, BLACKPINK's music label, YG Entertainment, announced that an exclusive performance video of "MONEY" will be released at 12 am this coming September 23 KST (September 22 at 11 am EST).
The announcement was made through the release of a teaser poster, which features Lisa giving a side pose in a beige outfit, an intense eye makeup, and a long braided red ponytail that gives Lisa an edgy and hip-hop vibe.
"MONEY" is the second track part of Lisa's debut single album "LALISA," that was released back on September 10. The track is of the hip-hop genre and features addictive bass riffs and Lisa's charismatic rap.

With YG Entertainment announcing the release of the performance video, BLACKPINK fans - collectively known as BLINKs - showed their excitement for the upcoming release, especially as "MONEY" had no music video, nor was it performed on music broadcasts.
"For the many global fans who are waiting for Lisa's 'MONEY' performance, we prepared a special performance video on our own," said YG Entertainment.
YG Entertainment had also boasted an overwhelming scale and a high level of perfection with the special stage video for Lisa's title track "LALISA," hence, fans' expectations for the exclusive performance of "MONEY" is growing, especially the track's choreography.

BLACKPINK Lisa's 'LALISA' Sees International Success
Meanwhile, after releasing her solo album back on September 10, "LALISA" broke numerous records and entered several international charts.
"LALISA" took the top spot of iTunes' Top Songs chart in more than 72 countries and regions around the world, as well as entering at No.15 on Spotify's Global Chart.
In addition, "LALISA" also ranked at No.1 on Youtube's global top songs chart, showing the BLACKPINK member's ripple effect in the mainstream music market.

The music video of "LALISA" also recorded more than 73.6 million views on Youtube within the first 24 hours, breaking the world record for the most views of a solo artist's music video in 24 hours on Youtube.
Two days after the music video's release, "LALISA" had surpassed 100 million views, achieving a new record for the shortest time a K-Pop solo artist reached the milestone. As of this writing, "LALISA" has over 179 million views on Youtube.
The first week's sales of the album "LALISA" also broke records. Back on September 17, the album surpassed 730,000 copies sold, breaking the record for first-week sales of BLACKPINK's "THE ALBUM," which recorded about 690,000 album copies sold, based on Hanteo Chart. As of now, more than 800,000 copies of "LALISA" have been sold.
