BTS Jungkook and J-Hope Caught Flirting... with Aliens?

Jungkook and J-Hope rose to the top ranks of the trending topics on Twitter as fans expressed their jealousy over aliens after spotting the two BTS members flirting with one in the "My Universe" MV.

On Sept. 30 at 1 p.m. KST, BTS and Coldplay released the music video for their collaboration song "My Universe." This fantasy and sci-fi-inspired MV stars the K-pop group and the rock band and is set in three different planets.

In the "My Universe" MV, BTS and Coldplay aren't the only ones performing, there is also this alien band called "SuperNova7."

According to the introduction of the music video, DJ Lafrique, on her alien radio ship, unites the three bands: BTS, Coldplay, and SuperNova7 from three different planets via "holoband" to defy the ban, which is music being forbidden across the universe.

In the middle of the "My Universe" MV, the three bands come together for one stage. At one point, BTS J-Hope was spotted approaching a female alien, which according to fans' research is called "Angel Moon."

J-Hope moves from one side to the other of the alien as he sings for her. Angel Moon can also be seen staring at the male idol (can be seen at 2:23).

Following that, another BTS member was spotted interacting with a female alien, and it is none other than Jungkook. He was slowly walking toward the alien who is playing what appears to be a keyboard. Like Angel Moon, the alien returns the gaze to BTS Jungkook. (can be seen at 2:41)

Both of these scenes only took a few seconds but they were already enough to make ARMYs go crazy about it. Fans who saw these took to Twitter to express their desire to become an alien as well.

As of writing, the keyword "Jungkook" is one of the trending topics on Twitter in 20 countries around the world, including Argentina, Peru, Chile, Dominican Republic, and Colombia.

The keyword "Jhope" is also trending on Twitter in different countries like Malaysia, Brazil, India, and the Philippines.

In addition to this, the keywords "Hoseok" and "Hobi" are currently trending at Nos. 2 and 3, respectively, on Twitter worldwide.

On top of this, even the keyword "Alien" is ranking on the trending topics globally. It currently sits at No. 39 with more than 189,000 tweets.

BTS x Coldplay "My Universe" Debuts at No. 1 on Oricon's Weekly Digital Singles Chart

In other news, BTS and Coldplay's collab track "My Universe" has entered this week's Oricon Weekly Digital Singles Chart.

On Sept. 30, "My Universe" reached the No. 1 spot on the Oricon Chart with a total of 21,151 downloads. It is the only song to surpass 20,000 downloads in the previous week.

Notably, BTS and Coldplay's "My Universe" ranked first on the weekly digital singles chart with only three days of tracking, proving the song's instant popularity in Japan.
