aespa Becomes Half-Million Seller Just 15 Days After 'Savage' Release
On October 21 KST, aespa's music label, SM Entertainment, announced that the four-member group's first mini-album "Savage" had recorded a total of 513,292 album copies sold just within 15 days of the album's release.
aespa, despite being a rookie girl group and only having been in the industry for less than a year, showed off their growing popularity and proved why they are called the "Monster Rookies" by selling more than half a million album copies.
Prior to the album's release, aespa had reportedly achieved more than 401,000 album pre-order sales. Two days following the release of the album on October 5, "Savage" became the best-selling debut album of a girl group after surpassing 200,000 album sales, according to Hanteo Chart.
"Savage" also did well on numerous domestic and international charts. In fact, the album entered US Billboard's main album chart Billboard 200 at No. 20, making "Savage" the highest-charting album by a female K-Pop group on the chart.

This is especially a big achievement for a rookie girl group, as only a few female K-Pop acts have made it on the chart, such as 2NE1, BLACKPINK, BoA, Girl's Generation, Girls' Generation-TTS, LOONA, TWICE, and ITZY.
Aside from Billboard 200, "Savage" also entered other charts such as the World Albums, Independent Albums, Top Album Sales, Top Current Album Sales, World Digital Song Sales, TasteMaker Albums, and Global Excl. US charts, among others
In South Korea, "Savage" achieved a perfect all-kill by taking the top spot on all the domestic daily and real-time charts upon the album's release.

aespa also swept music shows by taking home the first place trophies, with the album's title track of the same name winning four music show wins so far.
Meanwhile, aespa's "Savage" album contains a total of six tracks: "aenergy," "Savage," "I'll Make You Cry," "Yeppi Yeppi," "Iconic," and "Lucid Dream."

aespa Drops Second Performance Stage Video for 'Savage'
In other news, aespa has released a second performance stage video for their hit release "Savage."
In the performance stage, Giselle, Ningning, Winter, and Karina perform "Savage" in a black and white modern-setting that's accompanied by geometric patterns. The video also shows a better view of aespa's crisp and powerful choreography.
