BLACKPINK Bags a Total of 5 Wins at the 2021 BreakTudo Awards

On October 21 local time, the sixth edition of the Brazilian awards shows, BreakTudo Awards, held this year's ceremony online, and was broadcasted through TV station TV Cidade, Telemilênio's official Youtube channel and Canal Yeeah.

The BreakTudo Awards is one of the most recognized awards ceremony in Brazil, and also sees recognition internationally.

This year, YG Entertainment's top girl group, BLACKPINK, received a total of five nominations at the awards ceremony. Out of all the five nominations they received, BLACKPINK swept the categories and won all five of them!

BLACKPINK wins at the 2021 BreakTudo Awards

BLACKPINK was nominated for International Group, Female K-Pop Group, International Music Video and International Fandom. While "On the Ground" singer Rosé was nominated for International Breakthrough Artist.

For the International Breakthrough Artist, Rosé was up against other rising stars in the industry, such as Olivia Rodrigo, Tate McRae, The Kid LAROI, Giveon, Kali Uchis, Maria Becerra and Kenia Os.

For International Group, BLACKPINK competed for the award against fellow K-Pop stars BTS, CNCO, 5SOS, Little Mix, Now United, RBD and Why Don't We.

As for Female K-Pop Group, other nominees included (G)I-DLE, ITZY, LOONA, TWICE, with EVERGLOW, Brave Girls and aespa being nominated in the category and the awards show for the first time.

In the International Music Video category, BLACKPINK's "Lovesick Girls" was nominated, alongside BTS' "Dynamite," MAMAMOO's "AYA," Lil Nas X's "MONTERO," Ariana Grande's "positions," Demi Lovato's "Dancing With the Devil," Tesher and Jason Derulo's "Jalebi Baby," and Anne-Marie and Little Mix's "Kiss My (Uh-Oh)."

And lastly, for International Fandom, BLACKPINK's BLINK were nominated alongside other big fandoms including BTS' ARMY, EXO's EXO-L, TWICE's ONCE, Louis Tomlinson's Louies, Selena Gomez's Selenators, Taylor Swift's Swifties and Now United's Uniters.

BLACKPINK Lisa's Collaboration Track 'SG' with DJ Snake, Ozuna and Megan Thee Stallion Released

In other news, the highly-awaited DJ Snake and Lisa collaboration is finally here!

On October 22 KST, DJ Snake released the sexy music video for "SG," which features Lisa, Ozuna and Megan Thee Stallion.
