BLACKPINK Lisa Honored for Her Education Contribution in Home Country, Thailand
On November 17, it was announced that the Buriram Provincial Education Office honored BLACKPINK member Lisa for her educational contribution to Thailand. An honorary plaque was issued to the idol under her birth name, Lalisa "Lisa" Manoban.
The plaque was given to the idol for her contribution to education and being a good model for the Thai youth. Reports stated that this award was given to the idol after it was revealed that she supports the establishment of a K-pop learning center in Buriram, her hometown in Thailand.

Her mother, Chittihip Bruschweiler, received the plaque on her daughter's behalf.
Samanakarn Boonruang, the educational chief of the Buriram Provincial Education Office, praised Lisa as a Buriram native who is now a world-renowned star that has never forgotten her home province. Lisa has contributed to the education of Thai students and has supported the Korean Foundation for International Cultural Exchange to set up a learning center at the Nosunwanpittayakhom School.

In this learning center, students will be trained by K-pop dance instructors on K-pop dances. The Buriram Provincial Education Office says they are ready to support Lisa's projects to help the Thai youth achieve their dreams, according to Samanakarn Boonruang.

On October 22, "SG," a single Lisa collaborated on with DJ Snake, Ozuna and Megan Thee Stallion, was released. Upon release, "SG" debuted at number 19 on the Billboard Global 200 and at 13 on the Global Excl. U.S charts. "SG" also debuted at number two on the Bubbling Under Hot 100 chart and at number 19 on the Digital Song Sales Chart.
In South Korea, "SG" debuted at number 173 on the Gaon Download Chart.

Lisa debuted as a soloist on September 10 with the single album "LALISA," which contains a title track of the same name. Upon release, the "LALISA" music video became the most-viewed video by a soloist in 24 hours, amassing 73.6 million views.
"LALISA" and the b-sidetrack "MONEY" peaked at number two and ten respectively on the Billboard Global 200. "LALISA" is the best-selling album by a female soloist in the first week, and Lisa is currently the only female soloist in K-pop to surpass 500,000 sales in the first week.
