There is no secret as to why Big Bang fell from the spotlight last year. Due to several extenuating factors and bad press, Big Bang took the second half of 2011 to pull their heads together and prepare for a phenomenal comeback in 2012. With that being said, there was much hype surrounding their performance at the "15th Anniversary YG Family Concert”. Now that it’s over, Daesung from Big Bang shares his personal thoughts about the performance with the world, especially his fans.

Daesung stated, “Because of what had happened, I discovered how precious music and performing really is. Let’s meet next time at the Big Bang concert. I ask for your support.” There is no doubt that the hiatus did the band good, as Daesung seems more grounded and appreciative of the fans and respectful of the music. Hopefully there are no more blemishes with Big Bang since fans don’t want to have to deal with another break from new music and performances. Reports saying that Big Bang is planning to return to Korea on January 23 to start preparing for individual promotions are surfacing now.

The "15th Anniversary YG Family Concert” was performed in front of an estimated 200,000 fans. In addition to Big Bang, 2NE1, Se7en, Gummy, Psy, Tablo, and many other YG artists graced the stage, putting out amazing performances.
