For instance, Rain has strategically acquired domain names related to his brand, allowing him to maintain a solid online presence and control over his digital identity. 

Claiming the No. 8 spot is Korean rapper Swings. It is said that he purchased a residential building in Yeonhui-dong, Seodaemun-gu.

Additionally, it was revealed that he bought the property entirely in cash, surprising everyone in the studio.

Apart from his urban abode, Swings has also invested in lavish vacation retreats in picturesque locations. These properties serve as his havens where he can escape the demands of his music career and indulge in relaxation surrounded by natural beauty.

In addition, as a dedicated artist, Swings has spared no expense in creating a state-of-the-art recording studio. The Korean celebrity with the No. 7 most expensive real estate is Super Junior Leeteuk. The male K-pop idol purchased a building worth 6.07 billion won in Sinsa-dong. Show host Boom playfully commented, "He's not Super Junior, he's Super Rich."

HYBE Chairman Bang Si Hyuk landed at No. 4. He owns a J apartment in Hannam-dong. It is said that he had sold a unit of about 81 pyeong and is worth 10.8 billion won. Currently, the price of each unit has risen to 14 billion won.

Bang Si Hyuk, the renowned founder of Big Hit Entertainment (now HYBE Corporation), is no stranger to success. His rich real estate portfolio includes sprawling mansions in prestigious neighborhoods, showcasing his impeccable taste and appreciation for architectural grandeur. 

The "TMI News" also revealed that each unit at the apartment has five rooms and five bathrooms, and that each household can accommodate six cars. Some of the popular celebrities who live here are PSY, BIGBANG Taeyang and his wife Min Hyo Rin.

Taking the No. 3 spot is CNBLUE Yonghwa. The idol, who is usually interested in real estate, purchased a 15.3 billion-won super station area building with one basement and seven stories.

The No. 1 most expensive real estate purchased by a Korean celebrity is that of Rain and Kim Tae Hee. The couple purchased a property worth 92 billion won. It was disclosed that the monthly rental income of the building is 200 million won.

In the past, Rain sold a building he bought for 16.8 billion won in 2018 for 49.5 billion won, showing a difference of 32.7 billion won. Kim Tae Hee also made a profit of 7.1 billion won by selling a building purchased for 13.2 billion won for 20.3 billion won.

In addition to purchasing real estate in South Korea, the couple was also revealed to have bought a townhouse worth 2.4 billion won in Irvine, USA. In two years, the value of the property is said to increase to 3.5 billion won.

Other Celebrities With Most Luxurious Real Estate, According to TMI News

Meanwhile, the No. 6 most luxurious real estate is owned by TV personality Jang Sung Kyu. He previously revealed that his monthly salary at the time of working at the J headquarters was about 50 million won, but his income increased more than 15 times after making a big splash in the entertainment industry.

Jang Sung Kyu then became an owner of a building after about three years of turning into a freelancer. He now has a building in Cheongdam-dong worth 6.5 billion won and has a total floor area of 250 pyeong.

Singer-songwriter Yoo Hee Yeol owns the No. 5 most luxurious real estate among Korean celebrities. The price of the office building he bought in Nonhyeon-dong, Gangnam-gu is 10.3 billion won.

Ranking No. 2 on the list is actress Jun Ji Hyun, who owns three commercial properties. In 2007, she bought a building for 8.6 billion won and sold it 14 years later for 23 billion won, earning a whopping 14.4 billion won in profit. She then made another real estate profit by selling a house she bought for 7.5 billion won for 13 billion won.

The "TMI News" also revealed that Jun Ji Hyun recently purchased a commercial building in Deungchon-dong, Gangseo-gu for 50.5 billion won. It is also said that the company L is currently paying 160 million won a month in rent.
