Park Chan Min Speaks Out Against Online Hate Pages For Child Stars Like Yoon Hoo: SBS Anchor's Daughter Min Ha, 7, Has Her Own Anti-Cafe

The anti-cafe of 6-year-old child star Yoon Hoo may have been taken down this week following a public backlash, but according to Seoul Broadcasting System (SBS) anchorman Park Chan Min, the online hate page for his 7-year-old daughter Min Ha remains online, despite his efforts.

On the Wednesday night broadcast of the program "Midnight TV Entertainment," Park spoke out against anti-cafes (the evil twin of a fan cafe, or webpage devoted one celebrity's followers) that target child stars.

"It's so unfortunate that a cafe was created on the basis of hating my daughter," Min Ha's father said.

"There are a lot of cursing and spiteful words on the cafe so I asked if it could be shut down, but I was told that it will be difficult because the person who created it has the rights [to the anti-cafe]."

The celebrity dad feels forming an online hate page for a young child, particularly one containing profanity and harsh criticism like the one for Min Ha reportedly has, is unfair.

"I think that's doing too much to a seven-year-old," Park said. "Min Ha has no clue. I don't show her stuff like this anti-cafe."

The creator of the anti-cafe for Vibe singer Yoon Min Soo's 6-year-old son Yoon Hoo told Xports News on Tuesday that he decided to take the hate webpage down, following a backlash from K-pop fans and stars that caught him off guard.

"I made the cafe without much thought," he said.

"But it became a big issue and hit the media. It was even number one on the searched terms chart so I was really shocked."

The Yoon Hoo anti-cafe's creator said that it was considering his own feelings if people were spreading hatred about his child that allowed him to understand what the fuss was about.

"I thought, if I was a father with children...if my child was in grade school and had [an anti-fan cafe in his name], then my heart would be in pain," he said.

"Because of that, I decided to shut down the cafe."

Like Yoon Ho, Min Ha Park rose to fame on the South Korean TV variety show "Daddy Where Are You Going?"

She has also appeared in the film "The Flu," released this year and the TV series "Queen of Ambition," "Arang and the Magistrate" and "Feast of the Gods."

K-pop fan Unsaid feels the whole anti-cafe phenomenon has gone too far.

"These anti-cafes are getting completely ridiculous," the fan wrote Thursday on the Soompi message board. "Something is definitely wrong with these people."

Robbo4 wants vengeance for the creators of online child star hate pages.

"Why don't they hunt these idiots down and charge them with crimes against children?" the enraged fan asked.

"Their homes and persons should be identified, and they should face the same lifelong scrutiny afforded to child molesters as we have in the United States. Profiling works, you know? That's why law-enforcement utilizes it as a for of prevention and detection."
