The Miss USA Winner 2013 crown went to Miss Connecticut. The country's newest Miss USA won’t be going back to her white collar job. The Miss USA winner was crowned this weekend and begins a new life of glamour and excitement.

The 2013 Miss USA winner was an accountant from Connecticut, Erin Brady. After she was crowned Miss USA she said all that she could think of was giving her bosses notice that she wouldn’t be showing up at work the next day. Or ever.

The 2013 Miss USA winner’s family and fiancé were in attendance as Miss Connecticut beat out beauties from every state in the U.S. and Washington D.C. The 2013 Miss USA winner got her crown from last year’s winner, Miss Maryland Nana Meriwether.

The 2013 Miss USA Winner wore an orange bikini and a matching halter-top as she struck poses on the stage to the tune of the Jonas Brother's "Pom Poms." At the finale, Erin Brady wore a strapless gown with a spangled golden corset and long white train.

In the final minutes of the competition, Miss Connecticut answered a question about the U.S. Supreme Court's decision to uphold widespread DNA tests after Miss Utah stumbled on her question about wide fluctuations in income. Miss Connecticut said “If someone is being prosecuted and committed a crime, it should happen. There are so many crimes that if that's one step closer to stopping them, then we should be able to do so.”

The new Miss USA will live in a luxurious Manhattan apartment and go around the world raising awareness about breast cancer. Brady also wants to help children cope with the effects of drug and alcohol abuse. She told the AP, "I grew up in a family influenced by that and I think it's really important to help the children of families that are suffering from those problems." She also told the AP "I think that now more than ever, they're accepting that we're all intelligent individuals and that it's really not a stereotype."
