Super Junior's Kim Hee Chul has been appointed DJ for the Internet broadcasting radio at the Seongdong-gu Office.

Currently, Kim Hee Chul is serving as a public service worker at the Seongdong-gu Office. The first broadcast of "A Place to Rest" aired on January 20.

A representative at the Seongdong-gu Office commented, "Currently, Kim Hee Chul is working at the Internet broadcasting to promote Seongdong-gu Office. He is in charge of filming videos and editing them. But he was appointed DJ, because we thought it would be more fitting for him to use his previous experience as a DJ.

The representative further added, "We have received confirmation from the Military Manpower Administration regarding this, but we are a little considered about how others will view this."

Every Friday at 12, Kim Hee Chul shares news of Seongdong-gu and reads stories from the listeners. During the first broadcast, the server crashed making its popularity apparent.

Last September, Kim Hee Chul was enlisted to the Chungnam Nonsan Army Camp and currently he serves as a public service worker at the Seongdong-gu Office.
