Seungri is probably the most active Big Bang member in Japan. He has made numerous TV and radio appearances in the country and hosted a self-titled reality show, earning him an enormous Japanese fan following.

It seems the youngest member of Big Bang is ready to expand his influence even further.

On Thursday the group's official Japanese website announced that Seungri will make regular appearances on Count Down E.T., a new variety talk show on the Japanese cable channel MUSIC ON!.

Count Down E.T. Will be hosted by the popular Japanese comedy duo Oriental Radio and will feature entertainment news and music with various artists.

The show will have a pub setting and include a special segment from Seungri each week, "Men's Finger Food," where he will make easy food for everyone.

Last year, Seungri appeared on Japanese television quite a bit, as a special emcee for Sakigake! Ongaku Bangjuke Eight, a music variety show on Fuji TV.

The two-hour Saturday primetime show Count Down E.T. will premiere on July 20 at 8pm JST.
