Shinhwa Will Shoot Music Video Next Month

Shortly after announcing their comeback for their 14th anniversary, Shinhwa has let the world they are taking 2012 by storm.

March 24 is a milestone for the group. It marks the 14th anniversary of the longest running idol group in Korea. Just a couple days ago they announced that on that date they plan on celebrating by releasing their 10th album, “Ten”. They also have scheduled a reunion concert at Seoul Olympic Concert for the same day.

Today they announced that they intend on shooting for a music video in February. This is big news considering the group has been on a four year hiatus due to mandatory military obligations.

A staff representative for the Shinhwa Company released a statement saying, “The new songs will be a combination of the current trend in music and of Shinhwa’s long-lasting, original style. The music video shooting will begin next month.”

The representative went on to add, “Many new idol groups have appeared in the music industry, but Shinhwa is the only group to perform together, without any members leaving or new members being added, for over ten years. That is what will make Shinhwa’s comeback that much more meaningful.”

The Kpop community should be very excited as no band or group has the chemistry Shinhwa has.

The band will hold a press conference March 5 when they will release details of their album and upcoming Asia tour.
