T-ARA's Soyeon, who has become a recent a hot issue with a seemingly 'new' face in a music video footage, has released a statement regarding the plastic surgery controversy.

T-ARA's management company stated on June 25, "Soyeon received a simple cosmetic procedure. On top of that, the kind of makeup she had on plus the lighting made her look a bit different than what the fans are used to seeing. It was not a surgery but a procedure."

Earlier, screen shots of the music video "Like The Wind" by T-ARA's spin-off group QBS suggested that Soyeon received a drastic surgery to change her looks. In a matter of hours, the photos spread throughout the country.

From here on out, T-ARA will be focusing on their album activities in Japan. The new album by QBS will be released on June 26 and T-ARA will release their 7th Japanese album on July 3. They are scheduled to hold a solo concert in Japan sometime in July.
