Kim Kardashian’s Baby Weight Gain: ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians’ Star Desperate To Lose Pounds But Kanye West Likes Her Curves

Kim Kardashian is desperate to shed her pregnancy weight after giving birth to daughter North West less than two weeks ago. But Kanye West, boyfriend and baby daddy, loves Kim's curves.

"Kanye likes thick women with a fat [butt], so as long as Kim doesn't lose the booty and hips, they're good to go," a source joked to HollywoodLife.com. "He's not really tripping on it too much. He knows what Kim is working with and he loves it all."

Kim, 32, is already working with famous celebrity trainer Tracy Anderson, and reportedly wants to lose 30 pounds. "She wants to lose the weight, so she can look her best," says the source.

The Sun reports that some speculate Kim may have gained as much as 60 pounds during her pregnancy. She was frequently criticized by the media for her appearance and fashion choices, especially towards the end of her pregnancy.

A source told The Sun that Kim "wouldn't stop talking about her body in the delivery room" and kept "asking her sisters if she looked smaller and skinnier after giving birth".

The friend added: "Kim is obsessed with getting the baby weight off - and fast. She really believes she can lose the first 30 pounds in the first month. She wants to look good in a bikini by the end of the summer.

"She got so big. So now she wants to look as hot as possible."

The insider said the reality star is afraid she'll never look as good as she once did.

"She's terrified she will never get her body back. Everyone has told her not to stress - that it's about being healthy and having a good mind-set for your baby, not about losing the weight right away," the source told The Sun.

Baby North West is reportedly set to make her television debut and first public appearance on July 15, on Kardashian's mom and manager Kris Jenner's new talk show "Kris," The International Business Times reports.
