Candice Glover New Album 2013 Comes Out October 8; American Idol Winner’s `Music Speaks’ For Itself

Candice Glover’s new album will drop on October 8. The 2013 American Idol winner, Candice Glover, announced via twitter that her debut album is will be called “Music Speaks.” American Idol 2013 winner Candice Glover also announced that she will perform the National Anthem at Major League Baseball’s All-Star Game on July 16, the original release date that was announced for the new Candice Glover album.

Candice Glover took to Twitter on Monday to announce that her debut album, “Music Speaks,” will be released Oct. 8. Candice Glover’s new album has been on pre-order on iTunes since won American Idol in May. The St. Helena Island native also tweeted that she will be singing the National Anthem before the All-Star Game for Major League Baseball on July 16.

On Monday, Candice Glover tweeted “My album is almost done. I’m making the music I’ve always wanted to make but I just want to take a little more time to perfect it for you.”

In between rehearsing for the 30-stop Idols Live! Tour, Candice Glover has been recording the new record in Los Angeles since she won American Idol in May. The Idols Live! 2013 tour takes off on July 19.
MLB.com said the American Idol winner will perform the National Anthem as part of a special on-field ceremony honoring the winners of the national “Tribute to Heroes” campaign. The campaign recognizes heroic military veterans and service members. Pregame ceremonies begin at 7:30 p.m. and the all-star game will be televised nationally by FOX Sports.
