Gabby Douglas Net Worth Won't Deter Gymnastics Dreams [VIDEO]: Rio 2016 Training Underway According To Twitter

Two-time Olympic Gold medalist Gabby Douglas may have the net worth of millions, but she's now back in training for Rio 2016 and promises to "do her best."

"Taking some time off definitely helped me, and my body is now recovered," says 17-year-old Douglas during a recent interview with ESPN.

"Going into the Olympic Games, I was considered the underdog. And now, if I make the 2016 Olympic team, I'm going to be considered...you know, high expectations, 'Is she gonna do it again?'"

But regardless of how Gabby Douglas performs as a gymnast hence forth, she has very little to worry about outside of her own Olympic dreams.

Coming from a humble background, Gabby was at one point homeless along with her family, and the child of divorced parents. Her father, in fact, only came back into contact once she began making a name for herself.

But now, after endorsements, speaking engagements, and red carpet events, the "Flying Squirrel" is estimated to possess more than $3 million in net worth, with more potentially to come should she make the 2016 Rio Olympics.

But that hardly seems to be on her mind, according to her Twitter. In fact, with the exception of connecting with her 750,000 plus Twitter followers, Douglas seems to have only one thing on her mind: Training.

"I think I'm just gonna do the same thing I did in London, just go out there and have fun, and do my best."
