Benedict Cumberbatch, "Stark Trek" actor, is an eligible bachelor. His mother and his co-star Alice Eve both agree that Cumberbatch would make a woman very happy, but as of yet is single and ready to mingle.

According to Yahoo! Movies Cumberbatch, 36, is desperate to get married.

The London Times interviewed Cumberbatch's parents in May. It became immediately clear that his whole family was ready for Cumberbatch to get married right away.

"Can you just find him a bird? There must be someone in London who's suitable. I want grandchildren. Please - find my son a bird," Cumberbatch's mother, Wanda Ventham, said earnestly.

Another great thing about the single man? Cumberbatch is very supportive of woman's rights. In the same interview, Cumberbatch talked about his hatred for the name his fans call themselves, "Cumberb*tches," Fashion&Style reports

Instead, he calls his fans "Cumberwomen," "Cumbergirls," or "Cumberpeople."

"It's not even politeness," he said. "I won't allow you to be my bitches. I think it sets feminism back so many notches. You are... Cumberpeople."

Alice Eve, Cumberbatch's "Star Trek" co-star, discussed what a great boyfriend and husband the actor would make, according to Fashion&Style.

"You know what I think it is with Benedict, I think it's that he wants to have a family," Eve said when asked what made Cumberbatch attractive to women. "I think that's what gets women as well...Benedict wants to have a family and I think that's what women respond to. And I think the thing about him is that he'll actually be a good dad and a good husband. I think he'll be loyal and he'll be caring, and women respond to that."
